I choose this unit how likely it is because Why I chose this unit was because I enjoyed it and it was fun because we flipped coins and cups the investigation 1.3 we made tree diagrams for heads and tails for start then second choice and if it was a match a kid eats coco blast if not its healthy nut flakes.
In investigation 2.3 we played a game/activity that we had to predict a color out of two bags and there was three colors you get a color from the bag and if it was a match that you predictive you win. This was one of my favorite investigations. What I learned from that unit was that how to make a chart with theoretical and experimental graphs and to record every flip and make a diagram or a tree. How the concepts in that unit impact my life by how to record anything by chart and to find percentages of the times you do stuff for anything for example if I make surveys I can say n percent of the class likes Mets then n (other percent of class) liked Yankees. I learned also that how to decide what’s the percentage of things that I can do saying example I flip a coin it’s 50/50 or say if I through a basket ball and hit he back bored its going to be around 95%. I did do a class project that I had to flip a coin 50 times and record every thing like the percent of heads, how many heads, how may tails and the fraction of every thing and I really enjoyed it.
